This one night extravaganza was a celebration of an amazing season undefeated 12-0 regular season for the Fighting Irish prior to their appearance in the CFP. The football team uses the show as a major recruiting tool for perspective incoming student athletes prospects. It is designed to thank the Seniors and their families for the commitment that they have given to the University over their time in South Bend. Hosted by Former Notre Dame 2-Time All-American Offensive Lineman & Super Bowl Champion Aaron Taylor this nearly 2-hour live production was broadcasted from the Leighton Theater at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center to close to 1,000 attendees. The stage was transformed to mirror the home tunnel at Notre Dame Stadium. Professional lighting and 3 High Definition screens were used as part of the incredible backdrop. The show utilized 9 cameras including a jib in the balcony that provided amazing sweeping shots of the audience and stage. The control room for the production was nearly a mile away in the Martin Media Center. The synergy between the 2 campus buildings was seamless with the use Riedel headsets, Evertz DreamCatcher Playback, Ross Xpression graphics, 2 Wave Central RF cameras and a multitude of other top notch broadcast equipment. Over the span of three weeks, Fighting Irish Media produced over 20 original pieces of feature content presented during the live production streamed on IPTV. All graphics and video features from the live production were adapted for multiple forms of distribution platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and VOD content for YouTube, and the WatchND mobile app. The show included poignant moments, humor, incredible football highlights and additional newsworthy content during the course of the night.
